We had the privilege of attending a spelling bee on Friday evening. It was a neet experience! Grandma and Grandpa Leman were their too, but they put therre foot down on being in it. We had a kidd speling be and an adult one. Marcus and Jared and I all stayed in pretty long, but I got out on faimliar, and Marcus got out on cornor, and Jared on jet.
To me the adult spelling bee was much mor fun, to just see how good dad was (Mom was giving the words so I couldn't see how good she was)! Dad got up to the front of the line for the first time, and mom gave him the word bed! Mom did give him harder words and he stayed through almost to the end, but got out on expideint. Annette Coffey was the winner in the kid spelling bee and her mom in the adult one. There was a prize for everyone though (a sucker and certificate!) -Faith
